Come Tour Clintonville with Us

Katalina's Cafe Clintonville

Once host to a stop on the Underground Railroad, and the fist Columbus Zoo, Clintonville is an incredible Columbus neighborhood rich in history and in community.

As you drive by the mix of Mid Century and Cape Cod homes that surround Clintonville, and take in the scenery of mature trees, and scattering of lawn signs in alliance with Black Lives and LGBTQ+ communities – you’ll receive an abundance of greetings and kind waves from the many neighbors out for a stroll on largely sidewalk-less streets. While the 2022 median home value in Clintonville is $410K, you can still find a home in the low $200’s – making it one of the most accessible “trendy” areas of town. However, because Clintonville is so popular, homes do not tend to sit for very long – the average days on market (Oct. 2022) is still only 25 days.

One of the many appeals of living in Clintonville is the proximity of Whetsone, Park of Roses and the Olentangy Trail – offering ideal access to nature enthusiasts and athletes alike. The Whetstone branch of the Columbus Public Library sits beside the Community Center, all at the top of the hill from the Park of Roses and it’s famous duck pond at the bottom of the hill.

And then of course, Clintonville is home to many restaurants and shops such as North Star, Jenis, Hot Chicken Takeover, Patty Cake Bakery, Global Gallery, The Crest and of course, Katalina’s Cafe. One of our favorite spots to grab brunch in Clintonville is Katalina’s Cafè. Let’s taco bout it!

The food is made from scratch, sourced ethically, locally and organically. Yummy filled pancake balls, Mexican cob corn and chorizo tacos are just a few of the menu items that hardly scratch the surface. There is no doubt in our minds that their tacos deserve every award they have ever received- from pulled pork, to chorizo, to even breakfast tacos, we have never met a Katalina taco we didn’t like. This world famous restaurant is a must stop.

If the food is so good that you decide you need to move to Clintonville, shoot us a message and we will help you look into surrounding real estate.

Live Well, Columbus.
